Lighting Installation in Seattle
Great lighting changes how a room feels, and most of that comes down to placement rather than the fixture itself. In Charge Home Electric designs and installs lighting throughout the Greater Seattle area — Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, Renton, Redmond and beyond — from recessed ceiling layouts and under-cabinet kitchen lights to outdoor and landscape lighting. We start with where the light needs to land and work back to the circuits, so you end up with an even, comfortable room instead of bright spots and dark corners.
Our lighting work covers new recessed and can light layouts, LED retrofits of existing housings, under-cabinet kitchen lighting, outdoor and landscape lighting, security floodlights and motion sensors, dimmer and smart control installation, and pendant and track lighting. We help you choose fixtures and color temperature, and we install LED-compatible dimmers so your lights dim smoothly instead of buzzing and flickering.

Recessed lighting installation cost depends mostly on access and fixture count. A ceiling with attic space above it is the least expensive case — we drill from above and often finish with little or no wall or ceiling damage. A ceiling with a finished floor or vaulted framing above it takes more work to route cable and usually means some patching.

Beyond access, the variables are the number of fixtures (a good rule of thumb is one light per 4–6 square feet of ceiling), whether the room needs a new dedicated circuit or can extend an existing one, and how many switching and dimming zones you want. Outdoor and landscape runs add weatherproof conduit, fittings, and sometimes trenching. We provide free, no-obligation estimates with transparent, upfront pricing before any work begins — no hidden fees, no surprises.

Customer Reviews
What Our Customers Say
“I needed to have an inlet plug and breaker switch installed to my home circuit breaker box in order to plug in a new emergency generator for power outages. Troy and Kadin were professional and courteous and they worked quickly and efficiently. They installed the necessary electrical connections and cleaned up nicely and their price was quite reasonable. I recommend them highly.”
