Septic system electrical wiring and connections

Septic System Electrical Installation

This property was having a new septic system installed and needed the electrical side handled — a dedicated circuit for the pump, a disconnect switch, and a conduit run from the septic location back to the home's electrical panel.

We coordinated with the septic installer to get our conduit trenched in alongside their piping. The run went from the disconnect at the septic tank all the way back to the panel, where we installed a dedicated breaker for the pump circuit. Everything was buried to the proper depth and protected with the right conduit type for underground use.

At the septic system, we wired the pump, installed the disconnect switch, and connected the alarm panel so the homeowner would be alerted to any high-water conditions. The finished installation passed inspection and is built to provide reliable service for years to come.
